The North Bay Food Bank has been supporting the community since 1987, helping to alleviate food insecurity for residents of North Bay and Redbridge.
Their mission is to provide nutritious food to those in need while raising awareness about food insecurity in the community!
Each month, they assist around 800–1,000 people, including many families and children. Founded by local leaders and born out of the North Bay Regional Social Justice Committee, the Food Bank has grown from temporary soup kitchens to its permanent home on Fisher Street, opened in 2015.
