The Stories We Tell Ourselves Matter...

Ladies, let’s talk about the silent, powerful voice that speaks to us all day long: our inner dialogue.

For many women, that voice is often filled with criticism, guilt, and unrealistic expectations.

Statements like "I’m not good enough," "I’ll never lose the weight," or "I always mess this up" play on repeat—and they do more harm than we realize. 😔

What the Research Says:

A study published in Behaviour Research and Therapy found that negative self-talk not only lowers self-esteem but also increases vulnerability to anxiety and depression.

The way we speak to ourselves has a direct impact on our emotional and physical wellness. 🧠💔

But here’s the truth:

You don’t have to believe everything you think. 🙅‍♀️

Changing your narrative begins with one powerful step:

AWARENESS...

Try this Wellness Practice:

✅ Pause and Notice – Start paying attention to your inner dialogue. Write down recurring negative thoughts.

✅ Challenge the Thought – Ask yourself: Would I say this to someone I love? If not, it doesn’t belong in your mind either.

✅ Reframe It – Replace harsh words with compassion and encouragement. For example: change "I’m failing" to "I’m learning and growing." 🌱

Wellness Check:

This week, choose one recurring negative thought and rewrite it with kindness and truth.

Speak to yourself like someone worth fighting for—because you are. 💪
